Good-Bye, Mr. Risk!

It is with mixed emotions that I want to let the Hickory Community know that we will be losing one of our wonderful teachers. Mr. Risk has decided to pursue his teaching career at The Chadwick School in Rancho Palos Verdes. Mr. Risk has been a dedicated, steadfast faculty member at Hickory for the past nine years and he has decided to explore a different teaching environment. He is a respected member of our staff and we will all miss him. I can say that he will not be a stranger because his wife, Mrs. Shelley Risk, will remain here at Hickory. We all wish Mr. Risk well and hope he returns often to visit his Hickory friends. ALOHA MR. RISK!

Mrs. Skora and I wish you all a fantastic safe and fun summer. We thank you for helping us enjoy our first year here at Hickory; it has been amazing! We are looking forward to seeing you again on Sept. 4, 2008. Class lists will be posted on Wednesday, Sept. 3 after 5:00p.m.
