These shall not be brought to school except with the teacher’s permission to “share”. They shall remain in the classroom unless specific approval is obtained from the principal.

Hard balls, marbles, water pistols, slingshots, fake weapons, and other items of a dangerous or nuisance type will not be allowed. No radios, CD or cassette players are to be brought to school at any time.

Pokemon or Yugio cards are not to be brought to school at any time, nor are cards that are to be traded. Students may not sell, buy, or trade items while at school. Please do not send electronic pets (Tamagotchis, etc.) to school.

Skateboards, roller skates, heelies, etc. are not allowed on campus. A ticket from the police is given to anyone skateboarding on campus even on weekends and weeknights.

Hickory is a smoke-free school. No one is allowed to smoke on the school grounds at any time. As a regular part of our school curriculum, students are given information about the health hazards of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco.
