There are numerous end of the year activities that your child’s teacher has planned. Be sure to check in with your child what is happening at school as well as check the website.
Our two weeks of STAR testing is over. The students came to school well rested and ready to perform their best. Thank you parents for your support in making sure your students were at school during those weeks. We anticipate that your child’s CST scores will be mailed to your home sometime during the middle of August. If your address changed after February 2008, the test scores will be forwarded to your new address.
It was great seeing so many of you at our last restaurant night of the year, King’s Hawaiian, where we again had a wonderful turnout. Thank you very much for supporting all our restaurant nights this year. Due to their great success please be looking for some more restaurant nights that will be scheduled next school year.
At this time I would like to wish all of you a relaxing and fun-filled summer vacation. Always take time to read with your child and keep their minds working. We look forward to seeing all K-4th grade parents in the fall. To those parents of graduating 5th graders, we wish you and your 5th grader success in the middle school.
